Grand Lake Fall League Important 2024 dates: 

• July 19th:      Registration deadline. 
• August 12: Posting of teams and schedule (Evening Hours)
• August 17:  Coaches Lunch(MP 1:00, Jr. High , HS & Travel 2:15)
• August 18: Opening Day

Grand Lake Fall League has  again supplied financial support to the “Tailgate for Cancer”  organization this year. TGFC began 13 years ago when a group of  citizens felt they could make a difference helping friends, families and  relatives affected by Cancer and its affects.   Over $1.4 million has  been raised with the unselfish volunteers making an annual commitment to  fight this disease.  We at the GLFL are honored to provide our support  and we thank all of you for lending your support contributing to this  remarkable annual endeavor.  We thank you”. GLFL representative Phil  Schumann is presenting our support to Tami Sanford committee member  “Tail Gate For Cancer”.

Here are a few key points to note:

1. Games that were in progress during the rainouts are considered complete.

2. Make-up games have been scheduled during weeks 2-5 instead of extending the season by an additional week. The park only allows for one week of make-ups, and with four weeks remaining, we decided it was too risky to use this open week.

3. For Junior High (JH) and High School (HS) teams, weeks two and three remain unaffected. I was able to schedule the make-up games in available slots during weeks 4 and 5.

4. For the MP teams, scheduling make-ups was a bit more complex. You will see that in week three, there are three games scheduled at 8:45 AM. Although this is earlier than usual, all teams playing at this time already had early games scheduled. The alternative would have been to use late-day time slots, which would have kept some teams at the park all day. I aimed to schedule make-up games as close to your regular game times as possible. Make-up games for MP teams are in weeks 2, 3, and 5, and are highlighted in bold and italics on the schedule.
